Welcome to the Organic Horticulture Training for the Southeast

Universities in Alabama, Arkansas, North Carolina and South Carolina have partnered to train and educate Cooperative Extension System personnel and other agricultural professionals on the philosophy, certification, production methods and economics of organic agriculture systems. This website has been developed as a result of these training activities so that others may use these resources in their training endeavors.  Teaching modules and supplemental resources developed and adapted for this project are available educators throughout the SSARE regions to use in planning and conducting organic trainings and addressing common organic production issues.

You will find a assortment of supplementary training materials including presentations, case studies, video and pictures that can be downloaded and used for many purposes.
